We, South Azerbaijani human rights activists, call on the international community to support education in the mother language as a basic human right. We also urge our nation to join efforts to teach our children at home, ensuring the survival of our language, culture, and identity.
We also wish to emphasize that all Azerbaijanis, both from the North and South, fully support and stand by the independent and democratic Republic of Azerbaijan as one united nation.
A group of U.S. Congress members has sent a letter to Secretary of State Antony Blinken. This letter is primarily aimed at opposing Azerbaijan’s hosting of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
